About
This is a fan zine imitating a "traditional magazine" for Saniwa Day. It will showcase saniwa OCs that attend a fictional 10th anniversary meeting and have highlights for the people behind these OCs.The name "Kanzan" comes from a cherry tree of the same name. Synonymous with sekiyama and kwanzan, kanzan is a old Japanese poetic word meaning "bordering mountain". The word conjured an image of a "native land or village of one's birth that lay in a valley" (Kuitert, 1999).
